Do you know what is the gasoline octane rating?

Well, I have to admit that I am one of those who thought that the greater octane rating of gasoline, the better its quality, but I was wrong, so for that reason at Autopten we were researching a little bit about the subject and created a short post explaining what is the gasoline octane and how it works, just in case our readers want to know something that I think everybody should know. I have met some people that use Fords and Chevrolet and they put the premium gasoline to their cars just because they think the 87 octane rating gasoline is of bad quality, they do not know the damage they are doing to their cars, do you want to know why? if so, please check the article in our forum and blog.
